Garage door remotes can often stop working without warning.  Always start with the simplest solutions first.  While pressing remote button, look at Smart/Learn button on motor.  There should be a small light flickering while you press the button on the remote.  If you dont see the light flicker, open remote and clean the contacts that hold the battery in place.  Press them together, and re-insert battery.  Test again.  If that doesnt solve the problem, try changing the battery.  If that still doesn’t solve the issue, you may have a bad remote or a damaged circuit board.  This would be a good time to call a professional.  They often have remotes and circuit boards to resolve the problem.   http://www.garagedoorfixfl.com/contact-us/
